Marlena has always loved singing, and has been singing professionally for over 15 years, mainly at weddings and functions, but also at festivals, retirement communities and funerals, restaurants and private house parties. She has recorded her own album of original songs, which she sells at her shows. Her exuberant personality & positive outlook shine through in her energetic, upbeat performances, always with a smile on her face, and a confident and fun-loving stage presence. She is a master at enthusiastically engaging her audience when desirable, or instead creating a tasteful musical backround when appropriate. Power ballads, new country and pop are her forte, and she also impresses with oldies, standards, classic country, some R&B and swing. Having performed hundreds of weddings, bar mitzvahs and functions, her repertoire is diverse.

Marlena loves singing soft and often powerful, expressive songs of hope, love and loss, in addition to upbeat, fun songs that will make you want to dance and sing along. She feels that music and lyrics together express human emotion in a way no other art can, and for this reason, she is forever striving to be the most expressive singer she can be. Music is healing and inspiring, and she considers it an honor to be able to touch others emotionally with her singing, as well as with her songwriting.

Marlena feels she has already "hit the big time" by being married to the world's most wonderful man and being a home schooling mom of their 3 amazing kids !! (Jefferson-10, Liberty-8, Victory-3) Singing is the icing on the cake. Whenever there is free time to be found (are you kidding ??!!) she's singing, making jewelry and enjoying reading and scrap booking - a few of her hobbies. She currently resides in Milford, NH where she's spent most of her life. She is booking singing engagements frequently at many types of venues, so please check with her for booking availability.
